Ishwara : Lord, God. This concept appeared rather lately. It comprises all the virtual potentialities of the Supreme God. Therefore, it is the causal aspect of the Manifestation. The term Ishwar is very often used as ending of a word, joined together with a god's name. Exemple Kapaleshvara (in Madras -Chennai-, temple of "the Lord of Skulls") = Kapala (skull) + Ishvara.
